While thousands of Aerial Adventure Parks have existed in Europe for over 20 years, there are currently fewer than 50 of these parks in the United States. Seeing the need to provide an exciting and green recreational activity for younger children, Berkshire East hired Tree-Mendous Forest Adventure Parks, an industry leader, to design and build two separate parks for various ages and abilities.

TREE HOUSE PARK for children 3 years and older

Small 1

For children 3 years of age and older, there is the Tree House Park which features a wonderful maze of trails that are fully protected by netting. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and grandparents to share the joys of a forest adventure with their children and grandchildren. Trained guides will be present at all times.

AERIAL ADVENTURE PARK  for children 7 years and older

Small 2

Coming in early fall, children 7 years and older will be able to enjoy the Aerial Adventure Park which features a unique blend of elevated wooden platforms that are positioned high in trees. These platforms are connected by Indiana Jones bridges, Tarzan swings and zip-lines. Participants will be able to move safely at their own pace through the various self-guided aerial trails, choosing paths that fit their own challenge level. The Aerial Adventure Park uses the most advanced safety system in the industry to ensure that everyone’s harness is clipped onto a safety line at all times.

Every possible effort has been made to preserve and protect the integrity of each tree used in creating these parks. By combining its other outdoor activities and respecting the environment, Berkshire East continues toward its vision of Eco-Tourism and supporting a recreational based economy in the Deerfield River Valley of Western Massachusetts.

School groups and various organizations are encouraged to contact Berkshire East to plan a tour of its 900kW wind turbine, 500 kW solar field and to have a great day enjoying the resort’s recreational activities.
